Antigen Preparation
A recombinant protein of CK7
Background
The protein cytokeratin 7 is a member of the keratin gene family. The type II cytokeratins consist of basic or neutral proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains coexpressed during differentiation of simple and stratified epithelial tissues. This type II cytokeratin is specifically expressed in the simple epithelia lining the cavities of the internal organs and in the gland ducts and blood vessels. Epithelial cells of the lung and breast both contain keratin-7. Positive CK7 expression was detected in patients with lung cancer; positive expression of CK7 associated with pathological features of lymph node metastasis and T stage may be independent clinical parameters for poor prognosis of patients with lung cancer.
PURIFICATION
The Rabbit IgG is purified by Epitope Affinity Purification
