A synthetic peptide corresponding to inter-segment of human Troponin T Cardiac isoform protein.

Background

"Troponin T(TnT) is the tropomyosin-binding subunit of the troponin complex, which is located on the thin filament of striated muscles and regulates muscle contraction in response to alterations in intracellular calcium ion concentration. Troponin I (TnI), along with troponin T (TnT) and troponin C (TnC), is one of 3 subunits that form the troponin complex of the thin filaments of striated muscle. Mutations in TnT have been associated with familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy as well as with dilated cardiomyopathy. "

PURIFICATION The Rabbit IgG is purified by Epitope Affinity Purification	SPECIFICITY "This antibody recognizes 31 kDa of Troponin T derived from heart tissue lysate by Western blot. It reacts with human canis, felis or rabbit. The other species are not tested."
FORMULATION This affinity purified antibody is supplied in sterile Phosphatebuffered saline (pH7.2) containing antibody stabilizer	STORAGE The antibodies are stable for 24 months from date of receipt when stored at –20oC to –70oC. The antibodies can be stored at 2oC-8oC for three month without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freezing-thawing cycles.
