Antigen Preparation
A recombinant protein of human B7H4
Background
"The B7H4 protein belongings to the B7 costimulatory protein family. Proteins in this family are present on the surface of antigen-presenting cells and interact with ligand bound to receptors on the surface of T cells. B7s costimulate growth, prevent anergy, and promote survival of T cells via CD28 receptor. Binding of B7s to CTLA-4, however, inhibits T cell responses by delivering a putative negative signal. B7H4 negatively regulates T cell immunity. Studies have shown that high levels of the encoded protein has been correlated with tumor progression. A pseudogene of this gene is located on chromosome 20. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene"
PURIFICATION
The mouse IgG is purified by Protein A-Affinity Chromatography according to Isotyping
|
SPECIFICITY
This antibody recognizes human B7H4(VTCN1) protein. The other species are not tested.
|
FORMULATION
This affinity purified antibody is supplied in sterile Phosphatebuffered saline (pH7.2) containing antibody stabilizer
|
STORAGE
The antibodies are stable for 24 months from date of receipt when stored at –20oC to –70oC. The antibodies can be stored at 2oC-8oC for three month without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freezing-thawing cycles.
