Antigen Preparation
A synthetic peptide YPYDVPDYA
Background
"Human influenza hemagglutinin (HA) is a 63kDa surface glycoprotein required for the infectivity of the human virus. The HA tag is derived from the HA-molecule corresponding to amino acids 98-106. Influenza hemagglutinin tag is one of the most widely used epitope tags that can be used in various techniques. Adding a HA tag to a protein of interest is quite helpful to get rapid and cost less information regarding its localization, its expression or its biological function. The HA tag has been used as an epitope tag in expression vectors and assists in the detection, isolation, and purification of proteins. "
