Antigen Preparation
A synthetic peptide derived from internal segment of human Mekk-1
Background
"MEKK1 is a serine/threonine kinase, a part of some signal transduction cascades, including the ERK and JNK kinase pathways as well as the NF-kappa-B pathway. It is activated by autophosphorylation and requires magnesium as a cofactor in phosphorylating other proteins. MEKK1 has E3 ligase activity conferred by a plant homeodomain (PHD) in its N-terminus and phospho-kinase activity conferred by a kinase domain in its C-terminus to target proteins for degradation through ubiquitination."
PURIFICATION
The Rabbit IgG is purified by Epitope Affinity Purification
|
SPECIFICITY
"This antbody recognizes Mekk-1 protein. It reacts to human, mice and rat. The other species not tested."
|
FORMULATION
This affinity purified antibody is supplied in sterile Phosphatebuffered saline (pH7.2) containing antibody stabilizer
|
STORAGE
The antibodies are stable for 24 months from date of receipt when stored at –20oC to –70oC. The antibodies can be stored at 2oC-8oC for three month without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freezing-thawing cycles.
